Children's Hospice Week
What's been happening at St. Andrew's Hospice?
Publish Date: 18 May 2011
Children's Hospice Week is the UK's only awareness and fundraising week for children's hospice services. This year's Children's Hospice Week takes place from 14-21 May.
With the theme of heroes the charity week will celebrate local children's hospices which, just like superheroes, are there for people when they need them most.
You can get involved by taking part in Superhero Friday on 20 May, a special day of hero inspired fundraising activities.
Why not dress up as a superhero and make a donation to support children's hospices? Get your friends, family and work colleagues involved and see who can come up with the best outfit! Or you can keep it simple and just have a dress up or dress down day. If everyone donates a £1 the money will soon mount up and there's a prize for the company who raises the most money. Whatever you raise will be gratefully received!
Alternatively purchase a mask or two for 50p and get your Children and Grandchildren to decorate it and send it back to us to be entered into a competition to win a Fun day out for all the family. All proceeds will go direct to St Andrew's Children's Hospice. The deadline for receipt of donations and masks is Friday 10 June and we look forward to hearing from you. Call Lisa for more information on 01472 350908 ext 262/07847171428
Good luck!!Put your name and address on the back of the mask and send it to Fundraising Freepost St Andrew's Children's Hospice DC690 Peaks Lane Grimsby DN32 9BR
